I'll be honest and explain the spike for July 2003, it's all from you can see the entries are considerably longer and perhaps a bit more glum, I broke up with my girlfriend that month, but those sorts of things happen.
Other than the peak of July, it's interesting to see that incline going into October and the decline after.
