how long has it been since you've wrote a hand written letter? sometimes i get disappointed because the individuality of handwriting is being pushed away by the dominence of e-mail. there may not seem to be any kind of difference to a lot of people. for most people...a hand-written letter is much more rewarding than an e-mail. take some time to write a letter. reach over and grab a pen and some paper. people will love to hear from you in a different way. that is sometimes the essence of it...its not done that often, but when it does its very rewarding due to people not expecting.

kick some toe.

there is no appropriate journal. no appropriate words. no appropriate picture. just one appropriate person. my dear friend bob who sits in jail. i pray for him. and i received a letter from him. his small cartoons. and in the middle of the second page a detailed drawing of christ with a thorned wreath on his head and tears rolling from his eyes as if he was frowning on bob's actions. and on the sides bob said he was repenting a lot. as always a level of deep insight that goes unheard and uncredited. well, my friend, i'm listening. one of the finest.

alright all you people. i don't mean to get sappy, but you've all gotta shed some romance. find that person you love, write them a poem. write them a sweet kind letter. make them something homemade. rather than buying roses, make them something. rather than buying a card, make them a card. express your feelings in a new manner. have some romance, some laughter, and give it some creativity. it sparks the relationship...and its just hip hop horray fun!

ask questions before the problem starts...because it seems that the only time we raise questions is after the fact.

there are certain things all men and women should do. we should all spend lots of time writing, may it be a journal or a letter. we should all spend adequate time in nature...where headlights can not be shun, where no building can be seen, where no highway can be heard. places like these are decreasing in number. we should all spend enough time alone. we should all get away from society from time to time. we should all take the time to preserver our nature...it's fading fast.
